Grandmother Spider is a design frequently used by the mound builders on stone discs, pottery and shell gorgerts. The mound builders lived in the greater Mississippi Valley.  The designs on this bracelet come from pottery of the Mississipan Period wich was roughly from around 800AD to about 1650AD  Then they were fired to 2000 degrees F (1200C ) They are wired with sterling silver and stone beadsand a bone skull is at the bottom.
